Is the artillery unit in the circle in Figure 1 visible to the
Prussian player? No, it is not. Normally, if units "A" and
"B" were not present, the artillery would be visible to the Prussian
units. French unit "C" is in a depression, so it doen't block line
sight. In this case, this ploy can be useful when the Prussian
charges a cavalry unit close to the squares, or if he moves up to
harrass, then the French player can unveil his artillery unit and in the
next offensive fire phase get a juicy range 3 or so artillery attack on
a cavalry unit. Also note that unit "D" is not visible to the
